Educational, not financial advice

Read these limits before turning a scenario into a real-world decision.

Educational estimates

RetireCalc does not provide personal financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. It does not assess your complete finances, risk tolerance, account eligibility or tax return. Using a tool or contacting the site does not create an advisory relationship.

Projections are conditional

Retirement calculators apply a constant return. They do not predict market volatility or future spending. A depletion date, sustainable payment or “does not run out” result describes that model, not a guaranteed outcome.

The 4% illustration is percentage arithmetic. It does not calculate a probability of success.

The Roth comparison has a limited scope

The tax model uses 2026 federal ordinary-income brackets and assumes a fully taxable conversion and a future Roth withdrawal with no additional tax. It does not determine qualified-distribution status.

It excludes state tax, penalties, after-tax basis, capital-gains interactions, changing credits or deductions, benefit effects and required distributions. A favorable result is not a recommendation to convert.
